Zaccariah "Zack" Leone

Zaccariah "Zack" Leone, 79, of Mansfield, died Saturday Jan. 15, 2005 at Rockville General Hospital, Vernon. He was born Sept. 4, 1925 in Boston, MA. the son of Enrico and Maria (Giacobe) Leone. He was a World War 2 U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Zack had owned and operated Z. Leone Construction in Coventry and then in Hebron. He was a former member of the Coventry Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife Arlene (Dorsey) Rose Leone, 3 sons, Mark Leone of Mansfield, Bruce Rose and his wife Robin of Hebron and Richard Leone and his wife Linda of VT.; 3 daughters and sons in law, Tracy and Jeffrey Wheaton of FL., Kathi and Brian Legare of Stafford Springs and Nancy and Rick Hathaway of CA., a brother and sister in law Isiah and Norma Leone of MA., a sister Philomena Loring of MA., 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 sons, Stephen and Phillip Leone. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Monday 01/17/2005 between 7:00 and 9:00pm. His funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00am. Burial with military honors will follow in the Mansfield Center Cemetery.
