Wilson P. Aiken, 80, of South Windsor, formerly of Lebanon, husband of the late Margaret (Ramsay) Aiken, died Saturday May 25, 2002 at his daughter?s home in South Windsor. He was born March 19, 1922 in North Troy, VT and had lived in Lebanon since 1961. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and active in the American Legion in Lebanon. Mr. Aiken was a member and former chief of the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department and was employed at Agway in Franklin for many years prior to his retirement. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bob Miller of South Windsor, a son, Robert Aiken of Delray, Florida, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery.
