Willie T. Harrelson

Willie T. Harrelson, 81, of Coventry, husband of Thelma (Crandall) Harrelson, died Friday Jan. 18, 2008 at Windham Hospital. He was born May 29, 1926 in St. Paul, NC the son of Lewis and Katie (Blackman) Harrelson. As a resident of Coventry for over thirty years, he was retired from Mansfield State Training School where he had been employed seventeen years. Willie enjoyed woodworking and trips to Mohegan Sun Casino. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert and his wife Patricia of N. Ft. Meyers, FL and David of Coventry; a daughter Darlene Fugate and her husband Michael of Berryville, VA, a brother Lewis of Colorado Springs, CO, a sister Clara Pugh of Rockingham, NC, two grandchildren Jonathan and Monica Fugate of Berryville and several nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Thursday Jan. 24th between 6:00 and 8:00pm. A graveside service will be held in New Coventry Cemetery, Rte. 31, Coventry on Friday Jan. 25th at 1:00pm with Rev. Dr. Bruce Johnson officiating.
