William H Spence

William H. Spence, 75, of Windham, husband of the late Margaret (Baskowski) Spence, died Friday July 19, 2002 in Windham. He was born November 13, 1926 in Peabody, MA, the son of William and Beatrice (Beldan) Spence. He was A U.S. Navy and Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Mr. Spence was the owner and operator of Spence Auto Body in Peabody for many years. Upon his retirement he moved to Scotland, and later to Windham. He is survived by 3 children, two sons in upstate New York, and a daughter in Massachusetts, several grandchildren and dear friends, Raymond and Anna Mae Segar of Windham. Funeral services and burial will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, 100 Cedar Grove Ave., Peabody, MA. Arrangements are through the Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic.
