William George Murphy

William George Murphy, 46, of Mansfield Center, departed this life on June 26, 2012. Bill was raised in New Fairfield, CT and was formerly employed by Marjam Supply of West Hartford. He is survived by his father John W. Murphy of Niantic, CT and was predeceased by his mother Ann C. Murphy. Bill leaves behind four sons Christopher, Shaun, Joseph and Michael, his sister Jeannine and her husband Sean of Hopkinton, MA, his sister Susan and her husband Robert of Westford, MA, his nieces Alexandra, Catherine, Ashley and nephew Nicholas, also Kim Plagenza his beloved fiance of Mansfield Center. Bill also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. Bill raised all four boys as a single parent and he will be rememberes for his dedication and devotion to each of his sons. A funeral mass will be held on July 14, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at St Thomas Aquinas Chapel on the UConn Campus.
