William "Bill" Kopec

William "Bill" Kopec, 62, of Lebanon, died Monday Nov. 15,2004 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 30, 1942 in Grand Rapids, MI. the son of the late Stanley and Crystal (Jacobs) Kopec. Bill had been most recently employed as a driver for WAIM and had previously worked in the construction industry for many years. He is survived by his companion with whom he resided Deborah Lee, his stepmother Eileen M. Kopec of Mansfield, 3 daughters, Eileen L. Kopec of Norwich, Janice M. Kopec of Mansfield and Mary Cerillo of FL., a granddaughter Bailey Ann Cerillo of FL. and several aunts,uncles and cousins in Michigan. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte.195) Willimantic on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00am His funeral service will begin at 11:00am with Fr. Brian Converse officiating. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 238 W. Town St. Norwich, Ct. 06360 or to the Windham Hospital Capital Campaign, for the Emergency Room, 112 Mansfield Ave. Willimantic, Ct. 06226.
