William "Chickie" Gonzalez

William "Chickie" Gonzalez, 57, of Willimantic, CT passed away on January 31, 2016. Chickie, as he was known by his friends and family, will best be remembered for his outgoing personality. He enjoyed taking walks down Main Street and striking up conversations with anyone willing to talk. Chickie would go out of his way to try and brighten up your day by smiling in your direction or telling you a joke. He was preceded in death by his father Norberto Sr. Chickie is survived by his mother Georgina Gonzalez and two brothers Baltazar Tito and Norberto Jr.; three nephews Baltazar Jr., Joseph and Andrew Gonzalez as well as his six dear grandnephews and nieces; Baltazar III, Illiana, Deanna, Andrew, Ady, Anden and Aivee. Chickie enjoy your new life with Dad and Betsy, we will miss you. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT.
