William " Bill" Dinberg

William "Mr. Bill" Dinberg, 83, of Campert Dr. Ashford, husband of the late Selma (Ross) Dinberg, died Thursday morning, March 14, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. He was born July 8, 1918 in Queens, N.Y. the son of Jack and Mae (Seaver) Dinberg. He was a W.W. 2 Army veteran. Mr. Dinberg was a lifelong New York City area resident until moving to Ashford in 1994. He had a great zest for life, loved his family deeply and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children; Paul Dinberg and his wife Maria Lisa of Portland, Or., Risa Lassen and her husband James of Ashford and Patsy Lange and her husband Earl of Eastford, 3 grandchildren; Adalia Dinberg, Tracy Martin and Rebecca Lange, 2 great grandchildren; Tyler Martin and Kirsten Martin and many many nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held on Sunday at 1:00pm at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, with Rabbi Jeremy Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillel Burial Society Cemetery, Rte. 32, Mansfield. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial donations to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, 282 Washington St. Hartford, Ct. 06106 or to the American Cancer Society, 238 W.
