William F. Alvarado

William Alvarado, 73, of Willimantic, CT passed away on September 7, 2016 at his home. He was born August 1, 1943, son of the late Carlos P. Alvarado and Dionicia Feliciano. William loved to play dominos with his family, he also loved to cook and enjoyed sharing his mother's recipes. William enjoyed dancing and gathering with friends and family. He was a great son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a gentle, sweet, kind and generous man, and treated everyone with kindness and love. William was very caring and would have done anything for anyone. William will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his sister, Luisa Vazquez and brothers, Robert Alvarado, Jose Alvarado, Oscar Alvarado, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held and Holy Rosary will be recited Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 3:00PM, at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT 06226.
