SCHEDULE CHANGE Wenceslaus "Wency" Joseph Lobo, 75, of Willimantic, CT, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2014. Born on December 4, 1938 in Mumbai, India, Wency attended St. Michael's High School in Mahim and later lived with his family in Bahrain. Wency loved to travel and lived in England and Germany before settling in Connecticut. Wency was predeceased by his beloved wife Maria (Fernandez) Lobo and mother Candida Marie (Lewis) Lobo as well as his siblings, Rupert, Philomena, Zita and Bridgette. Wency leaves behind his loving younger brother Thomas William Lobo of Lebanon, CT , his niece Andrea Lobo Boyle and her husband James Daniel Boyle, II, and his cherished grand-niece Katherine E. B. Boyle of Wethersfield, CT. He will be dearly missed by his family as well as many friends and cousins world-wide. Known for his charming personality and devotion to his Catholic faith, Wency touched everybody he met. He was a longtime and active member of the Legion of Mary. Wency was proud of his work both as a young man at Almoayed and later at Excello, and Allied Printing. His beautiful singing voice, musical talent, and especially, his numerous stories reflecting his adventurous life will be remembered and missed by many. His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday Feb. 14, 2014 between 11:30am and 12:30pm at Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm Friday with interment following in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
