Wayne A. Mazzola, 67, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away on June 10, 2024. Wayne was born on November 20, 1956 in Willimantic CT. He was the son of his beloved parents the late Henry J. Mazzola, and the late Cecile M. Mazzola. Wayne was predeceased by his youngest brother James M. Mazzola in 2000. Wayne is survived by brother Mark A. Mazzola and his wife Mary Mazzola of Storrs, CT; sister Sally A. Maulucci of New Port Richey, Florida and sister Virginia Shea and her husband Mark Shea of East Haddam, CT. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Wayne’s work accomplishments included employment at various computer companies as an information technology consultant and he was always available to help anyone who had a computer question.
Some of Wayne’s most notable attributes included his delightful sense of humor, his love of life and his perseverance as he faced declining health over the past years.
Wayne had a tremendous love of animals and shared a special bond with his horse Tonka, whom he considered his friend and companion.
