Walter Charles Jacobson

Walter Jacobson, 85, of Coventry, CT died on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 after a brief illness. In the early years Walter worked for his father, driving a truck to deliver milk. He later worked for the UCONN police department and retired in 1988. Walter loved his hobbies, from card making, to painting, to working with yarn, making such things as coasters and Christmas decorations. He was predeceased by his daughter, Donna who he loved with all of his heart and soul, he carried her picture with him everywhere he went. Walter leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Jeanne, his brother George, his sisters in law, Doris Turcotte and Peg Farrell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. There will be Calling Hours for Walter on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 4:00 - 6:00pm, held at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT.
