Virginia F. Desmarais

Virginia F. (Pasek) Desmarais, 80, of Willimantic, died Sunday Feb. 20, 2005 at her home. She was born Dec. 13, 1924 in Avon. She retired from the UConn Police Dept. after 23 years of service. Virginia had been previously employed by the Cheney family of Manchester for many years. She is survived by 2 sons, Ronald Desmarais and his wife Maureen of Middlesex County, VT. and Gary Desmarais of N. Windham; 2 brothers, John Pasek of Bloomfield and Ralph Pasek of U.S. Virgin Islands; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Friday between 10:00 and 11:00am with her funeral service beginning at 11:00am.
