MANSFIELD - Virginia Ann (Hawkins) Bolduc, 81, of Mansfield, died January 3, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born June 2, 1930 in Mansfield Center, Connecticut the daughter of the late Harold C. Hawkins and Minnie W. Hawkins. Virginia was employed by the Town of Mansfield Collector's Office until April 1987 and was then employed by United Social and Mental Health Services in Willimantic until her retirement. She is predeceased by her son Kenneth Wayne Bolduc; two sisters Amy Inman and Dorothy Bailey and three brothers, Harold, Willis and Leland. She is survived by brothers Winthrop and his wife Ethel of Mansfield Center; Winston and his wife Norma of Mansfield Center; and Albert of Mansfield Center; four daughters and one son, Dale Bonafine and her husband John of Willimantic; Clare Wilson and her husband Chuck of North Windham; David Bolduc and his wife Vicki of Chaplin; Doreen Hulme of Storrs; and Darla Quick of Mansfield Center, along with 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Following in her mother's footsteps, mom had a passion for baking, and cherished her collection of dolls. Without a doubt, mom will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family and will remain in our hearts forever. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 between 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street (Route 195) in Willimantic. Funeral Services will be held at Potter Funeral Home on Saturday, January 7 at 10:00 a.m. with interment following at the Mansfield Center Cemetery.
