Viktorija Uskurs

Viktorija Uskurs, 96, of Willimantic, wife of the late Martins Uskurs, died Monday March 9, 2009 at Haven Health Center, Willimantic. She was born in Latvia in 1912 and has resided in Willimantic since 1950. Viktorija had been employed by American Thread Co. and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. She is survived by her son Edvins Uskurs and his wife Aina of Seattle, WA., two sisters, Lucy Abarons and her family in Canada and Kaze Zemaitis and her family in Latvia; and two grandchildren Donna Belts and Tony Uskurs. There will be no calling hours. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with interment following in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
