Victoria R. (Juras) Nichols, 85 of Card St. Willimantic, widow of Clarence Nichols, died Saturday Jan. 5, 2002 in Pennsylvania. She was born Sept. 4, 1916 in Willimantic the daughter of Walter and Agnes (Dziecinska) Juras and was a lifelong resident. She had been employed by the American Thread Co. and the Electro-Motive Manufacturing Co. She is survived by a son Clarence Nichols Jr. of Willimantic, a daughter and son in law Paula-Jean Stapel and Erwin Stapel of DuBois, PA., 7 grandchildren; Crawford Marley III, Brian Marley, Dana Marley, Vianne Dore, Teressa Marley, Kimberley McCall and Edyn Stapel, 2 great grandchildren Jordan Dore and Josh Marley and several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Wednesday at 12:45pm prior to the procession to her 1:30 graveside service in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Rd., Windham.
