Vera MacLeod, 92, of Florida, died peacefully on April 15, 2012 , She was born in Dorchester, Massachusetts on December 9, 1919 to Stephen and Anne Morrell. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She devoted her life to her family and her faith. She raised three sons with her now deceased husband, Victor, and also worked full time at the Newton Waltham Bank. She is survived by her two sons Bruce and Victor, her daughter in law Jennifer, and her two grandchildren David and Allie. From 1983 to 2001 she lived in the Willimantic Camp Meeting Association grounds and regularly attended the Windham Center Congregational Church. In 2001 she moved to Tampa, Florida and remained there the rest of her life. Throughout her life she enjoyed many close friendships and will be remembered for her deep faith and her positive outlook. She will be greatly missed. A graveside funeral will be held this Friday, April 27th, at 11 AM in the Windham Center Cemetery. Please visit
