Vanda V. Mund

Vanda V. Mund, 81, of Hebron, formerly of Coventry, wife of the late William E. Mund Sr., died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at her home. She was born February 25, 1924 in Burlington, the daughter of Victor and Mary (Nigrobski) Volovski and had lived in Coventry most of her life, recently residing with her son and daughter-in-law in Hebron. She founded the Windsor Locks Historical Society when she lived there. Mrs. Mund loved flower gardening, making dried flower arrangements and antiques. She is survived by 5 children, William E. Mund Jr. of Granville, MA, Lisa Calsetta and her husband Robert of West Springfield, MA, Lori J. Mund of Columbia, Keith L. Mund of Manchester, Brian C. Mund and his wife Katie of Hebron, 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 2 children, Craig V. Mund and Leslie J. Berman and a grandchild, Christopher Mund. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Saturday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Memorial services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
