Trusey Hurt-Wilson, 46, of Willimantic, wife of Joe Wilson Jr., died Monday November 29, 2004 at the Windham Hospital. She was born June 5, 1958 in Greenville, MS, the daughter of John Hurt of Lakeville, AR and Johnnie Buchana of Biloxi, MS, and had lived in Willimantic most of her life. She had strength and wisdom beyond her years and a heart of gold. She knew God and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Willimantic. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister to her family. In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by a daughter, Karvada Hurt-Grace and her husband Christopher Grace, a son, Joe Wilson III and his companion Monica Bryan, all of Willimantic, 9 siblings, Robert Hurt of Biloxi, MS, Nathaniel Hurt of Chicago, IL, Roderick Hurt of Milwaukee, WS, Susie Washington of Biloxi, MS, Jeff Hurt of Jackson, MS, Bobby Hurt of Chicago, IL, Albert Hurt also of Chicago, Jevena Porter of Willimantic and David Hurt of Biloxi,MS, 5 grandchildren, Timmi-Sha Carmichael, Austinn Hurt, Joe Wilson IV, Ckamagane Grace and Kheyage Grace, many nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a grandson. Her family will receive friends at the Calvary Baptist Church, 412 Valley St. Willimantic on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery.
