Thomas John Mcnally Sr

Thomas J. McNally Sr., 93, formerly of Storrs, husband of the late Catherine (Beattie) McNally, died Saturday morning April 8, 2006 at Douglas Manor, Windham. He was born May 18, 1912 in Hartford , son of Edward and Helen (Downey) McNally. As a U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. McNally served in the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a manager at the State of CT. Dept. of Labor in Wethersfield. He was a communicant of St. Jude Church, Willington. He is survived by 2 sons, Thomas J. McNally Jr. and his wife Peggy of Windham and Michael S. McNally and his wife Fumiko of San Diego, CA., a sister, Helen Stanton of Berlin, CT. and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. His family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday between 6:00 and 8:00pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am at St. Jude Church, Old Farms Rd., Willington, with assembly at the church. Interment will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery.
