Theresa (Fontaine) Zaklukiewicz, 93, of Freehold, New Jersey passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015, and was reunited with her husband Peter. She was a lifelong resident of Willimantic until the passing of her husband in 2010, and then moved to New Jersey to be with her son and daughter-in-law. Theresa was born on August 15, 1921 to Napoleon and Adele Fontaine. She was married to Peter for 69 years until his passing. She worked for a short time until becoming a full time homemaker and mother. She enjoyed sewing and knitting. Theresa is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: daughter, Carole Richards, grandson, Andre Paradis and his wife Lisa, great grandchildren Sean and Ashlee Paradis, granddaughter, Laurie Gilpatrick and great granddaughters, Sarah and Heather. Son, Peter Zaklukiewicz and his wife Sheelagh, granddaughter, Amanda de Charleroy and her husband Gregory, great grandchildren, Benjamin and Cory. Grand-daughter Margaret Hurdle and her husband Daniel. Theresa is also survived by her sister Irene Vesco of Reno, Nevada, along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am Monday morning June 8, 2015 at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT and process to St. Joseph Catholic Church for an 11:00 am Mass, burial to follow.
