Theresa St.Cyr

Theresa (Bertrand) St.Cyr, 77, of Willimantic, widow of Harold St.Cyr, died on Thursday May 27, 2004 at the Douglas Manor after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 19, 1927 in Willimantic the daughter of the late Maxime and Antonia (Gadoury) Bertrand. Theresa had been employed as a sales clerk at Todds in Willimantic for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Willimantic and had been a member of the St. Anne Society. She is survived by 3 daughters; Annette Boulianne and her husband Richard of S. Windham, Denise St.Cyr of Willimantic and Janine Vickery and her husband Gary of Manchester, 2 sons; Phillip St.Cyr of New Britain and Clifford St.Cyr and his wife Marie of Hampton, a sister Claire Bertrand of Mansfield, 3 granddaughters; Diane Giannelli and her husband Michael of Norwich, Heather Vickery of Manchester and Laura Krebs of Seattle, WA., 3 grandsons; Ian Krebs of Willimantic, Adam St.Cyr of Hampton and Ryan Vickery of Manchester, 3 great grandsons; Matthew, Devon and Jake Giannelli of Norwich and a great granddaughter Jenna Giannelli of Norwich. She was predeceased by a sister Loretta Bertrand of Mansfield. Theresa was a wonderful wife and mother, great memere and friend to many. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Rte. 195, Willimantic on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:15 prior to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Valley St. Willimantic. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to either St. Mary's Church, 80 Maple Ave. Willimantic,Ct. 06226 or to the American Cancer Society, 238 W. Town St. Norwich, Ct. 06360.
