Theresa Rose Hedlund

Theresa Rose (Cortese) Hedlund, 79, of Willimantic, died Saturday, September 16, 2006 in Mansfield. She was born August 2, 1927 in Carbondale, PA, the daughter of Peter and Loretta (Batlatto) Cortese. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for over 30 years and also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She is survived by a son, Charles E. Hodis Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL, a daughter, Patricia (Hodis) Mills DelMastro of Willimantic, 5 grandchildren, Kelley and Brian Hodis of West Palm Beach, FL, William Mills Jr. of Winter Haven, FL, Charles and Shannon Mills of Willimantic and several great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195,Willimantic on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Funerals services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery.
