Thelma M. Brousseau, 79, of 621 Valley St., Willimantic, widow of Fredrick Brousseau, died Tuesday Aug. 12, 2003 at the Mansfield Center for Nursing. She was born Aug. 18, 1923 in Huron, South Dakota the daughter of Harold and Nancy (Thompson) Lehman. She had resided in Willimantic for 61 years and had been employed in Dining Services at UConn prior to her retirement. She is survived by a daughter Gloria J. Sloan of Mansfield, a son Ronald J. Brousseau of Port Charlotte FL.,2 brothers; Robert Lehman of Somers, WA. and Erwin Lehman of Huron, 7 grandchildren, a great grandson and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers; Edward, Glen and William Lehman and a sister Betty E. Hemingway. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Saturday from 9:00am to 10:00am with services beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 238 W. Town St., Norwich, Ct. 06360.
