Tessie S. Edgerton

Tessie S. Edgerton, 95, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of South Coventry and Vernon, widow of Frederick Edgerton, died Thursday September 12, 2002 in Florida. She was born October 6, 1906 in Mansfield, the daughter of Frank and Wilhelminia (Matoseck) Schlehofer and had made her home with her daughter and son-in-law Virginia and William Christensen of Spring Hill Florida for the past 37 years. She is also survived by daughter and son-in-law Beatrice and Edmond Gero of Gardnerville, NV, a grandson, a granddaughter and a great granddaughter. Survivors also include three sisters, Agnes Vertefeuille of Willimantic, Eva Paulson of Mansfield and Rose Daros of Columbia. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Funeral services will begin Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow in the Nathan Hale Cemetery, Coventry.
