Tammy Lee (Chicky) Jones

Tammy Lee (Chicky) Jones, 54, of Canterbury, wife of Marvin Jones, passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2019 at Backus Hospital with her children and family by her side. She was born in Rockville, CT, the daughter of Raymond and Donna (Tracie) Chicky. Tammy grew up in Coventry, CT, and worked as a CNA for the majority of her life. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, and animals, especially her two pugs, Daisy and Tyson. She lived life her own way. In addition to her husband Marvin, she is survived by her four children; Ashley Miller (Phil), Amber Metcalf (Kyle Wilson), Christopher Mikel (Kristen Wolf), and Dennis Bouchard; two sisters, Tracie Garcia (George), and Lisa Bearce (John); two brothers, Raymond and Eric Chicky; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Raymond Chicky, and her brother Christopher Chicky. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Disabled Pet Sanctuary, 500 Cold Spring Ave., West Springfield, MA, 01089. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10:00am at the New Willimantic Cemetery, Windham.
