Sydney J. Waldron, 54, of Willimantic, wife of Michael Waldron, died Friday September 12, 2003 at Hartford Hospital. She was born June 25, 1949 in Yankton, SD, the daughter of Robert Talbott of Milwaukee and the late Laurie (Milliken) Talbott, grew up in Indiana and had lived in Willimantic for the past 10 years. She traveled all over the world with her husband during his military career and loved to collect lladros (Spanish figurines). She had been employed at the Wal-Mart in North Windham since it opened and was an avid NASCAR fan. Spoiling her 8 grandchildren was the focus of her life. In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her adoptive mother and her grandmother, Ann Hansen and Alice Rheim, both of Logansport, IN, 4 children, Melissa Kresch and her husband Michael of Chicago, Mark Caple of Willimantic, Travis Caple and his wife Robin of Norwich, Eric Waldron of Willimantic, a sister, Holly Klein and her husband Garth of Los Angeles, a stepbrother, Myron Robbins of Milwaukee, 8 grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Craig, Travis, Breana, Kyle, Hunter and Sydney, 2 nieces, Kirsten and Kasey. She was predeceased by her adoptive father, James Hansen on September 12, 2002. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday 9/20/03 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 27 Plains Rd., Windham Center.
