Susan Ann DeCatiff, 74, of East Hampton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
Born on October 7, 1951, in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Madeline (Pawloski) Villa.
Susan was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family. Her warmth, kindness, and devotion to those she loved will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children: Joseph P. DeCatiff and his wife Nicole DeCatiff; Maryjane DeCatiff; Nina Lombard; Julie Cromwell and her husband Al Cromwell; and Loretta Schultz and her husband Ryan Schultz. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Mikayla and Tyler Baird; Conor, Aiden, and Brennan Lombard; Sophia and Thomas DeCatiff; and Ryder Schultz; as well as her great-grandchildren, Elena and Charles Baird. Susan is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Peter DeCatiff.
Calling hours will be held at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic, CT, on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following morning on Wednesday, March 18, at 10:00 am, at St. Joseph's Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT. Burial will follow in St. Philip Cemetery, 64 Pompey Hollow Rd., Ashford, CT.
