Stephen T. Matwyko Sr.

Stephen T. Matwyko Sr., 70, of North Windham, husband of Shirley (Dearborn) Matwyko, died Saturday October 21, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 21, 1947, the son of the late Steven and Yvonne (Desrosiers) Matwyko. Stephen worked in construction for many years. He served in the United States Army Corps., and was an active member of the North Windham Fire Department for 16 years. He was also a former member of the Ukrainian National Home, Franco-American Civic and Social Club, and the former Moose Lodge. Stephen enjoyed bowling, going to the beach and all his animals. In addition to his wife, Shirley, he is survived by a sister Patricia Marrotte and her husband Earnest; nieces and their families. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Thursday October 26, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Windham Center Cemetery, (Rte. 203), Windham Center.
