Stephen George Harakaly

Stephen G. Harakaly, 38, of Mansfield, CT, died suddenly in an auto-accident Thursday morning. He leaves behind a loving family including his wife Tami (Bottaro) Harakaly, two children: Tyler and Lindsey, parents George Harakaly and Sandra (Carr) Harakaly, 3 brothers; George Harakaly Jr., Heath Harakaly and Erik Harakaly and a sister Cynthia Harakaly. As a union carpenter Steve was a member of the Local 24, presently employed as Facility Manager of Celeron Square at UConn. Steve was as an avid sportsman with a passion for the outdoors, fishing, motorcycles, boating, hunting, four-wheeling, hockey, and dirt-biking. He shared these passions with his son Tyler and will be remembered as a great son, brother, husband, uncle, neighbor, friend, employee and above all as a wonderful father and family man. A celebration of Steve's life will be held Monday October 27th at 6:00 pm at Sneakers Restaurant, Nott Hgwy, Rte. 74, Ashford, 06278. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made for the benefit of Tyler and Lindsey Harakaly at New Alliance Bank, 6 Storrs Rd. Willimantic, CT 06226.
