Steffie Sypher

Steffie Sypher, 87, Ash St. Willimantic, widow of Harold L. Sypher, died Saturday May 17, 2003 at the Windham Hospital. She was born Nov. 4, 1915 in New Bedford, MA. the daughter of Basil and Catherine Dyjak. She had resided in Willimantic for most of her life where she was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. Mrs. Sypher had retired from the American Thread Co. as a supervisor. She is survived by a son and daughter in law; George and Carolyn Sypher of Windham, a daughter Julie Sypher and her companion Rene LaFontaine of Windham, a sister Stacia Pszyk of Westerly, R.I., 3 grandchildren; George Sypher Jr., Dawn DeStefano and Michael Lovely and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
