Steffa (Cichon) Kasperkiewicz Nacsin, 92, of 441 Ash St. Willimantic, died Sunday morning at her home. She was the widow of Joseph Kasperkiewicz and Daniel Nacsin. Steffa was born June 4, 1909 in Willimantic the daughter of John and Sophie (Baran) Cichon. She was a lifelong resident and had been employed at the American Thread Co. as an expediter for 39 years prior to her retirement. Steffa was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and the Jackson St. Senior Center. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, polka music and liked to be on the go visiting people and places. Most of all she loved to be with her family. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Joan and Duwayne Keller of Willimantic, her granddaughter Kathryn Roberts and her husband Stephen of Windham and their children James, Stacey and Haley , a sister and brother in law Betty and Alfred Brand of Columbia, 4 brothers and sisters in law, Joseph and Adrienne Cichon and Stanley and Irene Cichon all of Willimantic, Edward and Peggy Cichon of Storrs and Walter and Lorraine Cichon of Ellington, 4 step grandchildren Rebecca Smiley and her husband Reed of San Antonio, TX. and their children Kara, Erin and David, Stephen Keller and his wife Deborah of Hebron and their children Benjamin, John and Mary, Elizabeth Keller of Hartford and Eric Keller of Carrboro, N.C. and many nieces nephews cousins and devoted friends. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. There will be a gathering at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:15am prior to the procession to her 11:00am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic.
