Stanley J. Shaney

Stanley J.?Shaney,?87, of North Windham,?CT?passed away peacefully on December 3, 2016?after a brief illness. Stan?truly had a zest for life and provided for?his family and friends to the fullest. He would always try to teach life lessons,?one of which was, ?Live for today,?but save for tomorrow?.?His humor and generosity will be missed. He leaves his?loving wife of 61?years,?Caroline,?along with three children, Caroline?Schlehofer, Steven and Mitchell?Shaney, along with?several?grandsons. There will be no calling hours. A Graveside Service with masonic honors and military honors will be held SATURDAY, APRIL 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., at Mansfield Center Cemetery, Cemetery Rd, Mansfield Center, CT 06250.
