Stanley J. Knight

Stanley J. Knight, 55, of Willimantic, husband of Lynn (Moore) Knight, died Sunday October 7, 2001 at the Windham Hospital. He was born August 1, 1946 in Middletown, son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Bower) Knight and had lived in Moodus and Scotland before moving to Willimantic 15 years ago. Mr. Knight was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam era. In addition to his wife he is survived by 4 children, Stanley Knight Jr. of Chaplin, Leslie Knight of Willimantic, Frances Knight of Putnam and Corey Knight of Willimantic, 2 sisters, Elizabeth Montgomery of Moodus, Marguerite Dancosse of Willimantic, 4 grandsons and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the New Willimantic Cemetery, Rte. 32 at Rte. 6, Willimantic. There are no calling hours.
