Stanley Edward Golab

Stanley E. Golab, 62, of North Windham, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 10, at home. Stan was born June 30, 1949, in Willimantic, son of the late Peter and Helen (Chowanec) Golab. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sandy, daughter Jessica, grandchildren Carolyn and Thomas, and mother-in-law, Gertrude Lewis, all of North Windham. He leaves his brothers Richard of Colchester, Gerald of Mansfield, sisters Carol Kuhn and her husband William of North Windham, Lorraine Cloutier and her husband Roland of Ashford, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Shirley (Golab) Reaves, and a nephew, Robert Heath. He will be greatly missed by many. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, September 17th at the Columbia Center Cemetery, Rte 87, Columbia, across from the Columbia Congregational Church.
