Stanley J. Dobush

Stanley J. Dobush, 83, of Columbia, formerly of Rockville, passed away Wednesday June 18, 2003 in Mansfield. He was born in Willimantic the son of the late Mary and Dmytro Dobush. He was predeceased by his wife Casimire "Carrie" (Orlowski) Dobush and a niece Anne Dobush. Stanley served in the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He leaves 2 sisters Antonia Piasecki of Columbia, Janet Dobush of Willimantic, 3 brothers, Walter of Columbia, Henry of Windham, John of Harwington, 8 nieces and nephews Leland and Phillip Piasecki, Christine, James and Michael Dobush, Pam Bousquet, Matthew and Cathy Dobush. He also leaves a dear friend, Julie Samson of Willimantic. Graveside services will be held Thursday June 26th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bernard Cemetery, Kingsbury Rd. at Rte. 74, Rockville. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia Volunteer Fire Dept. Columbia, CT 06237. The Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic is in charge of arrangements.
