Stanley A. Colka

WINDHAM - Stanley "Stosh" Colka, 71, died Monday, December 14, 2009 of natural causes at his home. He was the son of Victoria and Stanley Colka. Stanley was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1963. He was a certified diesel mechanic, recently retired from Willimantic Waste Co. Prior to his work at Willimantic Waste, Co., Stanley was employed as a diesel mechanic at Holmes Transportation. He had always been dedicated, hardworking and meticulous to detail. Stanley enjoyed many hobbies, such as flying, hunting, fishing and racing. He was also an avid Nascar fan. Stanley, our beloved father, brother and friend will be deeply missed and always in our hearts. He is survived by many family members who will always keep him close to their hearts.
