Sophie T Cymbor

Sophie T. Cymbor, 87, of Ash St. Willimantic, died Saturday evening March 30, 2002 at her home. She was born July 4, 1914 in Willimantic the daughter of Stanislaw and Catherine (Guminey) Cymbor and was a lifelong resident. Sophie had retired from the American Thread Co. and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Willimantic. She is survived by 2 sisters; Mary Postemski and Loretta Cymbor both of Willimantic and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Josephine Roberts. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 9:00am at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic with assembly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to a charity of the donor's choice.
