Shirley J. Popick

Shirley (Fletcher) Popick, 70, of Mansfield, wife of the late Ronald Popick, died Saturday (December 14, 2013) at home. Born in Hartford, Shirley is the daughter of the late George Fletcher and Florris (Wright) Fletcher. She spent most of her years in Manchester before meeting her husband of 21 years, finally settling in Windham. Shirley enjoyed spending time fishing on their boat with family as well as spending time with her dogs. She is survived by her sister Sandy Swortzfigure of Pennsylvania, her brother George R. Fletcher of Willington, and her four children; Robin Staten, Donnie Jordan and Mark Jordan all of Rhode Island and Tanya Mitchell of Mansfield as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Ronald A. Fletcher and sister Geraldine (Fletcher) Hobbs. " She sacrificed so much for the ones she loved and we will always remember her for her endless generosity."
