Shirley M. Landon

Shirley M. (Sawyer) Landon, 61, of Chaplin, a devoted wife and mother, died Saturday Feb. 12, 2005 at her home. She was born April 6, 1943 in Willimantic the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy (Pepin) Sawyer. She had been active with the Chaplin Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and more recently at the Chaplin Senior Center. She is survived by her husband Walter A. Landon, a son and daughter in law Jeffrey M. and Pamela J. Landon of N. Windham, a daughter and son in law Jan Ellen Roy and Randal E. Roy of Windham, a brother Frank Sawyer of Sequin, TX., a niece, a nephew and several sisters in law and brothers in law in the Landon family who will all miss her deeply. There will be no calling hours. Private funeral services will be held with burial following in the South Chaplin Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
