Shirley A. Kurcinik

Shirley A. Kurcinik, 78, of Columbia, widow of Joseph L. Kurcinik, died Sunday June 2, 2002 at Windham Hospital. She was born October 20, 1923 in Columbia, the daughter of Horace and Bessie (Ladd) Trythall and was a lifelong resident. Prior to her retirement she was employed for 52 years at Advest in Hartford. She is survived by a sister Harrie Field of Columbia and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Stanley Field and a sister, Helen Hennequin Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Columbia Congregational Church, Rte. 87, Columbia. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, Columbia. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia Congregational Church or the Columbia Volunteer Fire Dept. Columbia, CT 06237. The Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic is in charge of arrangements.
