Shirley Ann Hill

Shirley Ann (Fisher) Hill, 72, of Canterbury died Sunday May 20, 2012 at the Windham Hospital. She was born January 9 1940, in Chandler, OK. to Laverne and Hazel Irene Fisher. Shirley graduated Wellston High School in 1958 and Mohegan Community College with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. She married James M. Hill, Jr. October 4, 1958. She is predeceased by her parents, brother Jimmie Fisher, sister Carol Jean and son James Michael Hill. Shirley is survived by husband James Hill, sister Willa Fisher daughters Debra and Lisa Hill, grandchildren Thomas and Brenna Phillips, Maila Phillips Novoa, and countless people who knew her as Oma. Her memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at the first Congregational Church of Windham, Windham Center. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
