Shirley M. Bruneau

Shirley (Seaton) Bruneau, of Manchester, formerly of Columbia, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 in Manchester. She was the widow of the late Arthur C. Bruneau who predeceased her in 2003. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ethel (Burnham) Seaton. She leaves two daughters: Donna and her husband, Fred who was a son to both Shirley and Art and a special daughter Patricia Bruneau of Manchester. She also leaves three grandchildren Jim Lussier and his wife Karen, Susan Mike and her husband Ron, who looked after her when she needed help, Debbie and Paul Kratochvil. She leaves seven great grandchildren, Ben, Tom, Bill, Emma, Abbey, Jessica and Sydney. She was predeceased by her son Benji, three brothers, Philip, Emner, Kenneth and two sisters, Phyllis and Elizabeth. She leaves a brother and sister-in-law Roy and Audrey Seaton and three special sisters-in-law Dorothy Seaton, Shirley Bigelow and Dorothy White as well as many extended family and friends. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, August 24, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Coventry, 1171 Main St., Coventry with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Nathan Hale Cemetery, Coventry. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to MARC, Inc. 151 Sheldon Rd., Manchester, CT 06042.
