Shirley L. Bigelow

Shirley L. (White) Bigelow, 96, of North Windham, CT wife of the late Francis B. Bigelow passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Douglas Manor. She was born in Willimantic, CT., daughter of the late Edna and Guilford White. She was employed at Deknatelin Coventry, CT for several years. She enjoyed visiting the casino and playing Bingo.
She is survived by four children: Susan J. Perkins and her husband Edward Perkins, Bonnie L. Kern and her husband Keith Kern, Cindy J. Pelletier and her husband Donald Pelletier, and Timothy F. Bigelow. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by a son, Daniel Bigelow, a grandson and a great grandson.
She will be greatly missed.
Shirley’s family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic, from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, with a funeral service beginning at 5:00pm.
