Shirlea J. Lords

Shirlea J. (Johnson) Lords, 81, of Riverside Dr., Andover, widow of Hubert Lords, died Monday Jan. 7, 2002 at the Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born Oct. 8, 1920 in Bridgeport, the daughter of Raymond and Georgia (Johnson) Johnson. After spending most of her life on Long Island where she taught sewing and operated a fabric store, she moved to Manchester, Chaplin and then Andover. In addition to her sewing, she also enjoyed crafts and needlework. She is survived by a son and daughter in law Gerald S. and Allyson Lords of Waldorf, MD. and a daughter and a son in law Susan L. and Richard R. Carrier of Hampton. She was predeceased by a son Jeffrey R. Lords. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 7:00pm at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, with her family receiving friends from 6:00 to 7:00pm. Burial will be private in the Pinelawn National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. Please omit flowers.
