Sherrie M. Peroni, 61, of Lebanon, wife of Joseph Peroni, died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at their home. She was born January 30, 1950 in Farmington, Maine, the daughter of Bernard "Bud" Gilbert of Coventry and the late Marilyn (Porter) Gilbert and grew up in Coventry before moving to Lebanon. She was a dedicated employee of AT&T for many years, receiving recognition for her supervision and training skills as well as ten years of perfect attendance. Sherrie was known as the "Fun Grammy" to her family. In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two sons, Clinton LeBlanc of Columbia and Courtney LeBlanc and his wife Lauren, also of Columbia, three grandchildren, Kailey, Connor and Allison, a brother, Frank Deming of Enfield, two sisters, Pat Cosma of Vernon and Deb Blanchard of Norwich, numerous nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, August 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. Her funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Coventry, 1171 Main St., Rte. 31, Coventry. Burial will follow in the New Coventry Cemetery.
