Sharon E. (Eckhart) Smalley

Sharon Eckhart Smalley, 77, of Hampton, CT went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 5, 2017. She was born in Hartford, CT to the late Robert and Mildred (Bliss) Eckhart on February 5, 1940. Sharon graduated from Granby High in 1958. She loved to knit for her family and friends. Sharon retired from the State of Connecticut (UCONN) Storrs Campus, where she worked for 26 years in the Engineering III Department. Sharon leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Roger Smalley and three daughters, Katherine (Ralph) Brand of Hampton, Kimberley Larson of Hampton and Karen (Joe) Landry of North Windham. She also leaves four grandchildren, Ronald Brand of Hampton, Jillian Larson of Brooklyn, Melissa Radell of North Windham and Keri Radell of Norwich; six great grandchildren; sister, Glenna Misuanas of Watertown, CT and several nieces and nephews. Sharon was predeceased by her parents and a grandson, Timothy Larson. Services will be held at Christian Fellowship Church in Scotland on Saturday August 12, 2017 at 5:00pm.
