Sarah A. Lemoine

Sarah A. (Knapp) Lemoine,101, of North Windham, formerly of Dayville, widow of Romeo Lemoine, died Friday May 14, 2004 at the Douglas Manor in Windham. She was born Aug. 13, 1902 in Chaplin the daughter of Myron and Mary (Smith) Knapp. Sarah enjoyed her family and caring for them. She baby sat for family members and friends and always enjoyed crocheting. She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Gladys Theriaque and her husband Richard of N. Windham with whom she formerly resided. She was the last of 12 siblings. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00pm with her funeral service beginning at 1:00pm. The Rev. James Beesley Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to a charity of the donor's choice.
