Sara S. Fortier

Sara Susan "Sue" (Rose) Fortier, 58, passed away after a long illness on September 1, 2004. She was a resident of Haven Health Care Center. She is survived by her daughter, Emily Fortier of New York, two sisters, Darrell Turbyne of Colorado and Lauren Rose Tromley of Florida, her grandson, Daniel, her granddaughter, Nancy and several nieces and nephews. Sue was predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Carolyn Rose of Coventry and brothers, John Rose and Christopher Rose. Sue grew up in Coventry where she attended Coventry schools before moving to Willimantic. She was employed at the University of Connecticut before retiring. Sue was a loving, loyal and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. We will all miss her very much. A memorial service will be held Sunday, September, 5, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Coventry. There are no callling hours.
