Santa Lozada

Santa Lozada, 86, of Willimantic, died Wed. June 13th at her home. She was born Oct. 6, 1920 in Puerto Rico the daughter of Ramon Santiago and Ramona Vega. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed. She is survived by three sons, Victor Garcia of Willimantic and Santos Lopez and Pedro Lozada both of FL.; five daughters, Benci L. Garcia, Edith Garcia, Carmen Alvarado and Elizabeth Maldonado all of Willimantic and Daisy Somnuk of FL.; a sister Dolores Santiago of Puerto Rico, 34 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren and 26 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Efrain Garcia and a sister Ramona Santiago. Her family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Sunday between 2:00pm and 6:00pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00am at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, Club Rd., Windham. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
